It was a disappointing outing for our Prahran 1st XI, who came up short against Fitzroy Doncaster 1st XI.
Fitzroy Doncaster 1st XI batted first and put 5/171 on the board from 20 overs. Credit to Jack Rudd, who made a half-century (75) for our opponents. Paul Walter led the way with the ball, finishing with two for 31.
In reply, we finished on 4/153 from 20 overs. Cameron Hemp brought up a good half-century, finishing with 89 not out off 65 balls.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again.
Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
