In Kookaburra Men's Premier action, our Prahran 1st XI went down to Northcote 1st XI in one to put behind us.
Northcote 1st XI's innings ended at 317, ours at 226. Max Delaney's 68 not out off 143 balls was a half-century to remember. Solid support came from Shenuka De Silva, who made 36. Credit to Joe Medew-Ewen, who claimed a six-wicket haul (six for 67) for the visitors. Adam Howard weighed in with three for 36 for our opponents.
With the ball, Matt Wilcox did the damage, claiming four for 73 off 21.3 overs. Cam McClure chipped in with two for 65. Jack Lalor made a fine 183 for the visitors, a century worth applauding. Our opponents also got 30 from Will Blair.
Plenty to take out of this one.
On to the next one.
