On Saturday, our Prahran 2nd XI registered a win over Frankston Peninsula 2nd XI to collect a well-earned victory.
We ended on 7/308 and Frankston Peninsula 2nd XI on 10/180. A classy 92 not out off 115 balls from Nicholas Morrey was the highlight. Will Scott brought up a fine half-century, finishing with 85 off 69 balls. Charlie Giles added a useful 44 off 48 balls.
The visitors' best with the bat was Lucas McConnell, who made 44. There were 33 from Patrick Parsons for our opponents. Hamish Braden was the pick of the bowlers, taking two for 18 off four overs.
Contributions came from right through the line-up.
Great work, everyone.
