It just wasn't our day: our Prahran 2nd XI were unable to get the better of Geelong 2nd XI in a disappointing result.
Our totals were 10/180, against Geelong 2nd XI's 7/326. A classy 57 off 107 balls from Oliver Willett was the highlight. James Boyce carried on to an unbeaten 33 off 127 balls. Henry Nicholls added a useful 30 off 61 balls. Credit to Zane Attard, who took four for 28 for the hosts. Oliver Haberfield claimed four for 46 for our opponents.
With the ball, Pranav Menon did the damage, claiming four for 86 off 25 overs. Lincoln Koliba made a stylish 93 for the hosts, a well-deserved half-century.
Chins up, everyone.
