It was a disappointing outing for our Prahran 2nd XI, who fell short against Geelong 2nd XI in Kookaburra Men's Premier.
Geelong 2nd XI made 8/352, and we made 10/209. William Collins top-scored, making 46 off 96 balls. Lachlan Zissis provided good support with 37. Zane Attard was the best of the visitors' bowlers, finishing with four for 31.
Hugh Birchall was the pick of the bowlers, taking three for 45 off fifteen overs. There were also wickets for James Boyce (three for 77). Credit to Jake Klein, who made a century (101) for our opponents.
Plenty to take out of this one.
Congratulations to the visitors on the win.
