On Saturday, our Prahran 2nd XI went under to St Kilda 2nd XI in one to put behind us.
It finished 10/172 to 7/211. Guy Barnes posted 65 not out for St Kilda 2nd XI, a good fifty. Benjamin Sexton returned figures of two for 55 off seven overs.
Pranav Menon made a terrific 53 off 63 balls, a well-made fifty. Riley Backhouse contributed 37 off 65 balls. Credit to James Gray, who took three for 32 for the visitors.
There were some stylish individual efforts to build on. We'll go again.
