Sunday belonged to our Prahran 2nds, who proved too strong for Essendon Maribyrnong Park 2nds for a great result.
Essendon Maribyrnong Park 2nds finished on 10/178, and we finished on 7/305. The hosts' best was a half-century from Makaylah Brne, who made 54. Jaide Anthony grabbed two for 0. Ava Bennett weighed in with two for 28 off nine overs.
Anthony made a terrific 66 off 69 balls, a well-made fifty. Madeline Waring also got among the runs with 44 off 37 balls.
A well-deserved victory for the team. That makes it two wins in a row.
Well done, team.
