It was a tough day out for our Prahran 4th XI, who were downed by Carlton 4th XI with lessons to take away.
The team batted first and reached 10/225 from 44 overs. Lucas Pike passed fifty on the way to 62 off 65 balls with seven fours and two sixes. Lenny Wilkins played a handy knock of 40. Neil SCHLITTLER was unbeaten on 31 off 23 balls. Sid Nayak bowled well for Carlton 4th XI, taking four for 51.
In reply, the visitors passed our total, finishing on 3/227 in 42.1 overs. Credit to Alessandro Belci, who made a half-century (76) for our opponents. Brayden Tracey posted 50 not out for the visitors, a quality fifty.
Plenty to take out of this one.
Chins up, everyone.
