It was one to learn from for our Prahran 4th XI, who were bettered by Geelong 4th XI in a tough outing.
Batting first, we posted 10/225 from 44.4 overs. Alexander Pillay was the pick of our batters with 38 off 42 balls. Private player played a handy knock of 37. Lachlan Simpson provided good support with 36. Nate Johnson bowled well for Geelong 4th XI, taking four for 34.
In reply, our opponents passed our total, finishing on 5/228 in 44.2 overs. Fifty for Seb Dew, who made 67 for the visitors. Logan Haberfield finished unbeaten on 38 for our opponents. With the ball, Angus Schlittler did the damage, claiming two for 45 off nine overs.
