It was a disappointing outing for our Prahran 1sts, who were well beaten by Melbourne 1sts on a day to learn from.
First up, we made 233 from 48.3 overs. Olivia Henry's 111 off 115 balls was a century to savour. Sarnsiree Plant posted a half-century, making 56 off 54 balls with six fours and one six.
In reply, Melbourne 1sts passed our total, finishing on 1/236 in 46.1 overs. Credit to Kamya Mishra, who made a century (113) for the visitors. Fifty for Hasrat Gill, who made 76 not out for our opponents.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one. Well played to the visitors.
