There was no joy for our Prahran 3rds, who were denied by Greenvale Kangaroos WP3 in Kookaburra Women's Premier action.
The team batted first and reached 4/217 from 40 overs. Fifty for Riva Guliya, who finished with 86 off 88 balls. Dakota Edmonds posted a half-century, making 68 off 102 balls with four fours.
Greenvale Kangaroos WP3 knocked off the runs, finishing on 4/218 in 35.1 overs. Credit to Indigo Rodger, who made a half-century (79) for the visitors. Fifty for Shaina Barala, who made 67 for our opponents. With the ball, Edmonds did the damage, claiming two for 27 off six overs.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
We'll go again.
