Our Prahran 2nds had plenty to celebrate after they took care of Dandenong 2nds at Beaumaris Secondary College - South Oval in Kookaburra Women's Premier.
Dandenong 2nds batted first and made 5/123 from 20 overs. Anuki Dassanayake held our opponents' innings together with 28. Cate Filippone bowled well to finish with two for 19.
In reply, the team reached the target at 1/126 in 13.2 overs. Ellen Williams brought up a polished half-century, finishing with 68 off 51 balls. Lucy Fletcher carried on to an unbeaten 48 off 30 balls.
A well-deserved victory for the girls.
Onwards and upwards.
