It was a satisfying day for our Prahran 2nds, who had the measure of Plenty Valley 2nds with a performance to be proud of.
We finished on 3/192, with Plenty Valley 2nds on 10/132. Daani Jawanda posted 88 for our opponents, a stylish fifty. Cate Filippone was the pick of the bowlers, taking three for 33 off six overs. There were also wickets for Samantha Arscott (two for 12).
Jaide Anthony made a brilliant 97 not out off 99 balls, a well-made fifty. Madeline Waring added a useful 40 off 30 balls.
It was a superb all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up.
The win makes it six in a row. Congratulations to the team on a cracking result.
