On Saturday, our Prahran 2nd XI thumped Dandenong 2nd XI.
Dandenong 2nd XI batted first and put 10/192 on the board from 40.5 overs. Venuk Hemachandra made a quality 80 for the hosts, a well-deserved half-century. Tom Morrison made 34 for our opponents. Seven wickets for Damon Malcolm, who returned seven for 29 off 6.5 overs.
In reply, the team reached the target at 1/196 in 32.4 overs. Travis Jackson posted a half-century, making 95 not out off 113 balls with six fours and three sixes. Oliver Willett brought up a quality half-century, finishing with 75 off 84 balls.
A big win, and a performance to build on. That's back-to-back wins for the side.
Well done, team.
