It was a satisfying day for our Prahran 1st XI, who took the honours against Kingston Hawthorn 1st XI in Kookaburra Men's Premier.
We batted first and put 7/139 on the board from 20 overs. Leading the way was Paul Walter with 38 off 21 balls. Cory Cater was the main threat for Kingston Hawthorn 1st XI, taking three for 23.
In reply, our opponents finished on 94 from 18.1 overs. Vimesh Wickramasinghe batted well for the visitors, making 28 off 20 balls. The wickets were shared around, with Brodie Symons taking four for 14. Matt Wilcox offered good support with two for 9.
The work with the ball set up the win. Two wins on the trot now for the boys.
Well done to everyone involved.
