Our Prahran 3rd XI came unstuck as they had to give best to Melbourne 3rd XI at Righetti Oval on Saturday.
With the bat first up, we compiled 10/83 from 29.3 overs. Jesse van Rooyen top-scored with 19 off 20 balls. For Melbourne 3rd XI, Sam Anderson took three for 1 off 3.3 overs.
The visitors reached the target at 1/84 in 15 overs. Oscar Wood made a fine 54 not out for our opponents, a well-deserved half-century.
A tough day at the office, but one to learn from.
