It was a satisfying day for our Prahran 1sts T20, who knocked over Dandenong 1sts T20 to collect a well-earned win.
Dandenong 1sts T20 batted first and reached 8/120 from 20 overs. Kamaljot Kaur was the main threat for our opponents, making 43. Our best with the ball was Lucy Page, who took three for 23. Sophie Day chipped in with three for 33.
In reply, the side reached the target at 0/121 in 15.1 overs. Merinda Hale's 60 not out off 46 balls was a half-century to remember. Olivia Henry passed fifty on the way to 54 not out off 45 balls with six fours.
It was a dominant performance from start to finish. The first win of the season is in the bank. Well done, team.
