It was smiles all round as our Prahran 2nds beat Dandenong 2nds with a good team effort.
Our innings closed at 5/254 from 45 overs. A century to Lucy Fletcher, who made 103 off 129 balls with nineteen fours. Ella Stallwood brought up a quality half-century, finishing with 53 off 60 balls.
In reply, Dandenong 2nds finished on 241 from 44.2 overs. Nilakshi Perera posted 66 for the visitors, a stylish fifty. Fifty for Montana Phillips, who made 66 for our opponents. Ava Bennett tore through the batting order, taking five for 30. Hannah Landheer chipped in with two for 36.
A well-deserved victory for the side.
That's an eighth straight win. Well done to everyone involved.
